Christantus Uche Ignites Dominant Crystal Palace Win at Shelbourne.

Without star figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding result that virtually secures them a place in the Conference League playoffs.
A further three points in their next match against Finland's KuPS should be enough to secure direct entry to the last 16, especially following a previous stumble against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Opportunity
This occasion offered a chance for several Palace's lesser-used talent to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a another, scoring for the second consecutive match.
A Shelbourne side that had finished their domestic season proved outmatched against a mostly rotated Palace lineup. The visitors were already weakened by the news that Mateta and Muñoz are out with knee problems.

The match was as good as over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past some comically weak challenges before coolly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring with his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also blazed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for improvement in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the visiting side.
